This privacy policy applies to all information collected through our website, SMS messaging consent, and/or any related services, sales, marketing or events (we refer to them collectively in this privacy policy as the “Site“). Information from minors

In Short:  We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We may use your personal information to schedule you for an MRI or to send information regarding appointments through SMS communications; or for product, service and new feature information; and/or information about changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.

  • To send you marketing and promotional communications. We and/or our third party marketing partners may use the personal information you send to us for our marketing purposes, if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences. You can opt-out of our marketing emails at any time.

  • To enforce our terms, conditions and policies for business purposes, legal reasons and contractual.

  • To respond to legal requests and prevent harm. If we receive a subpoena or other legal request, we may need to inspect the data we hold to determine how to respond.

  • For other business purposes. We may use your information for other business purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Site, products, marketing and your experience. We may use and store this information in aggregated and anonymized form so that it is not associated with individual end users and does not include personal information. SMS Communications Terms of Service

In Short: If you have consented, you may receive SMS communications from Team MRI related to scheduling.

The information (phone numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Types of SMS Communications

If you have consented to receive text messages from Team MRI, you may receive messages related to the following (provide specific examples):

  • Scheduling and confirming MRI appointments.

  • Providing appointment-related information (reminders about upcoming or missed appointments).

Example: "Hello, this is a friendly reminder of your upcoming appointment with Dr. [Name] at [Location] on [Date] at [Time]. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging at any time."

Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication. For example, you may receive up to six SMS messages per week related to your appointments.

Potential Fees for SMS Messaging

Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.

Opt-In Method

You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from Team MRI in the following ways:

  • Verbally, during a conversation.

Opt-Out Method

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply "STOP" to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.

DATA RETENTION

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 2 years.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy policy.

California Residents

If you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have used the Site, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Site.
